Renz will represent CASE District VI on the 30-member board, which sets policies, approves the annual budget and ensures sound management of the organization.

A longtime CASE volunteer, Renz served on the CASE board of trustees from 1996 to 1999 and was a member of the CASE Commission on Alumni Relations. Renz is a recipient of a CASE District VI Distinguished Service Award. She has been active in the Council of Alumni Association Executives and served as that organization's president from 2001-2002. She is a 1976 K-State political science graduate and earned her master’s in public administration from K-State in 1986.

"Amy’s appointment to the CASE board of trustees is a testament to her effectiveness as a leader and her commitment to higher education," said Aaron Otto, chair of the K-State Alumni Association board of directors. "We are pleased that she was elected to the CASE board of trustees and will represent all members of CASE District VI."
