International programs staff present at international conference

NAFSA: Association of International Educators recently held its 65th annual Conference and Expo, May 26-31, in St. Louis. It attracted nearly 8,400 attendees from more than 90 countries. Office of international programs staff met with partners from around the world.
The following staff presented at the conference:
- "Engaging International Students Through Sport and Traditions," Stacey Bailey, international student and scholar services, and Caitlin Kelley, international recruiting.
- "Involving International Students in Campus Traditions," Yasir Ansari and Miranda Panzer, both of international student and scholar services.
- "Tips for Navigating the 24-Month Bar," Maria Beebe, international student and scholar services, and colleague.
- "Team Building on a Shoe-Strong Budget," Sara Thurston-González, international student and scholar services.
- Thurston-González served on the 2013 Annual Conference Committee as poster chair. Bailey also was recognized for finishing her three-year commitment on Trainer Corp as well as the completion of her time on the International Student Advising Core Education Program team.
