Researchers recognized for $1 million-plus grants

Submitted by Erin Pennington

Faculty members who received new research grants in excess of $1 million in 2022 were recognized by K-State President Richard Linton and Vice President for Research David Rosowsky at a reception on March 20.

"This is a significant achievement and places these faculty members among the elite researchers at K-State," Linton said. "Research is a core part of K-State's mission as a land-grant and public research university. It is through our research and discovery that we serve the needs of Kansas, the nation and the world."

Researchers included were from the colleges of Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Health and Human Sciences, Education and Veterinary Medicine.

"Our research on important topics creates new knowledge and new understanding, provides opportunities for our students to engage in the research process and elevates that university’s visibility and reputation," Rosowsky said.
