Sign up for 'Shifting Professional Standards Panel' hosted by TRIO Educational Supportive Services
TRIO Educational Supportive Services will host a "Shifting Professional Standards Panel" and Q&A from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 10, in Room 205 of the Multicultural Student Center and on Zoom. In-person spots are limited, so sign up soon to secure your spot.
The panel will provide insight from K-State faculty and staff on how they have navigated workplace expectations and where they see the future of professional standards heading. Participants will learn about what to expect as they approach graduation and/or the workforce and how to better prepare themselves for this experience.
Panelists include:
- Teresa Parks, assistant director of the Career Center.
- Kevin Santos Flores, director of Diversity and Multicultural Student Life.
- Tanya Gonzalez, professor of English and associate provost of institutional effectiveness.
- Brent Weaver, learning assistant coordinator for K-State First.
