Powercat Financial moves to Navigate for student scheduling

Submitted by Jodi Kaus

K-State students may now schedule appointments for Powercat Financial's services via Navigate rather than requesting an appointment via KSIS.

Navigate is the technology platform used campuswide to support and track student success through advising, coaching, tutoring and academic success interventions. This switch will leverage Navigate for coordinated care of students' financial well-being in alignment with their academic planning. Embedding financial health programming efforts within Navigate will provide robust data aligned with students' academic goals and more readily connect students to Powercat Financial's services. The initiative is one part of a piloted universitywide effort toward increasing student financial well-being involving several campus units.

Students may use the "Schedule an Appointment" link on the Powercat Financial website, which will take them to Navigate, or log in directly to Navigate with their K-State single sign-on username and password. Once logged into Navigate, the student will click on appointments in the left navigation menu, following a scheduling process with which most students are already familiar. Powercat Financial appointments are under "Financial Services."

Students may choose one of several meeting methods: In person at 302 K-State Student Union on the third floor, via Zoom or by telephone.

Please email Powercat Financial at powercatfinancial@k-state.edu if you or your students have any questions.
