K-State students selected as Seaboard Royal Scholars

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

Four Kansas State University students have been selected by the American Royal Association as 2022 Seaboard Royal Scholars.

Grace Knepp, senior in agricultural communications and journalism and global food systems leadership; Faye Smith, senior in agricultural communications and journalism; Lauren Thompson, sophomore in animal science; and Bryston Warren, senior in agriculture economics; will each receive a $2,500 scholarship and additional exposure and opportunities to be on site with the American Royal in the fall and spring semester.

The Seaboard Royal Scholars program is designed to provide an opportunity for outstanding college students to represent the American Royal Mission and advocate for the agriculture industry. The 2022 cohort includes 10 agriculture, food or natural resources undergraduate students from across the nation.
