Piano professor gives four solo recitals in Poland

In May, Slawomir Dobrzanski, K-State professor of piano, performed four solo piano recitals in Poland. The recitals featured piano music by Anton de Kontski, Wiktor Labunski and Maria Szymanowska.
Dobrzanski began his tour in the town of Mińsk Mazowiecki, where he performed at the State Music School.
Subsequently, he was a guest artist at the Frederic Chopin University in Białystok where, in addition to giving a solo concert, he also conducted piano masterclasses.
His third solo recital was in the town of Jeżykowo next to Poznań.
His final concert took place at the Museum of Romanticism in Opinogóra in north-central Poland.
