University implements anonymous reporting hotline

Submitted by Jana Clark and Elliot Young

The offices of Risk and Compliance and Internal Audit announce the launch of an anonymous reporting hotline for fraud and other related misconduct. The university has contracted with a third-party vendor, Syntrio/Lighthouse, to manage the hotline. The anonymous hotline will go live on July 1 and will be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

PPM Chapter 3230, Reporting Fraud, outlines the policies, responsibilities and procedures for reporting fraud or related misconduct. The policy also prohibits retaliation against any person who reports fraud or other related misconduct. If you suspect fraud or other related misconduct, you are encouraged to report your concerns through the anonymous hotline.
