The hospitality, management and dietetics department is offering a lunch and learn class on Cooking for Families. Water and cookies provided. All classes are from noon to 1 p.m.  Select one of the following dates to attend:

  • Monday, April 8, in 167 Justin Hall;
  • Wednesday, April 17, in 166 Justin Hall; or
  • Monday, April 22, in 167 Justin Hall.

Classes are offered for parents, ages 20 to 40, who prepare at least four meals a week at home and have a child 13 years of age or younger living in their home. For those who participate in a class, we are also recruiting parents to help test two child friendly recipes. Parents able to attend both activities will receive a $50 gift card for participation.

To register, call 785-532-2394 or contact Diane Duncan-Goldsmith at duncango@k-state.edu or Shely Weinrich at sjaney11@k-state.edu.
