Peer coach and tutor positions available for spring 2022

Submitted by Academic Achievement Center

The Academic Achievement Center is hiring peer coaches and tutors for spring 2022.

Peer coaches work one-on-one in the AAC Learning Lab to support students in the development of tools, skills and dispositions for academic and personal success. Peer coaches will gain experience not only working with fellow K-State students in service of their goals but also share valuable professional and leadership development that will take place throughout the year.

Peer tutors facilitate the learning process outside of formal classroom structures and focus on the success of the learning process. They are a vital part of many K-State students' academic careers. Peer tutors are needed for a variety of courses and one tutor may hold several tutoring sessions a week in a variety of courses.

If you have a student in mind or a group of students that you work with who you believe would be interested in this opportunity, we invite you to share our application and position descriptions which can be found on the Academic Achievement Center website. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis but priority deadlines are Jan. 15 for tutors Dec. 3 for peer coaches.
