Deadline to earn HealthQuest credits
Throughout 2021, benefits-eligible K-State employees can earn HealthQuest credits to either lower their 2022 employee premiums for plan A and/or receive additional HSA/HRA contributions for plans C, J, N and Q. However, deadlines and criteria to earn these credits and contributions differ depending on the plans and coverage levels.
Nov. 19 is the 2021 deadline for HRA/HSA contributions for plans C, J, N and Q. Those with employee-only or employee+child(ren) coverage can receive $10 as HSA/HRA contributions for each HealthQuest credit earned. Those with employee+spouse or employee+family may each earn $10 for each HealthQuest credit. Contributions for HealthQuest credits are generally posted to your Health Savings Account, HSA, or Health Reimbursement Account, HRA, the pay period after they are earned. Contributions are capped at $500 for the year regardless of the level of coverage.
Dec. 31 is the 2021 deadline for premium discounts for plans A, C, J, N and Q. Participants in all plans may also earn a premium discount through HealthQuest incentives. Those with employee-only or employee+child(ren) coverage must earn 40 credits, and those with employee+spouse or employee+family coverage must each earn 40 credits, to receive the premium discount of $480 for 2022.
