Recycling Center organizes recycling effort for more than 207 mattresses
The K-State Recycling Center recently coordinated with Housing and Dining Services to recycle more than 207 mattresses.
The mattresses were all picked up by local support groups to be used to aid the local community. The various organizations will use the mattresses in summer camps, emergency situations and for the needy.
In addition, we together just diverted more than 10,350 pounds of material from the landfill.
