Training offered for YOU@KSU

Submitted by Shawn Funk

Kansas State University is offering a new online platform — YOU@KSU — to meet the well-being needs of students, faculty and staff. It is a comprehensive 24/7 well-being platform to help students, faculty and staff in three core areas: succeed, thrive and matter. The platform launched at the beginning of March and is available at you.k-state.edu.

A Thursday, April 8, training session offered by our partners at YOU at College exclusively for K-State faculty and staff will provide more information about the YOU@KSU platform. Faculty and staff will learn how to use the platform to support students as well-being advocates. The virtual training will be held at 4 p.m. and registration is now available. The 45-minute training will be focused on the following goals:

  • Learn how YOU personalizes evidence-based online and campus resources for our students.
  • Gain tools to support your students as a well-being advocate.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally about mental health and student success.

If you are unable to attend the April 8 training session, additional training sessions for YOU at College's national coalition of campus partners will also be held on at noon Tuesday, April 13, and noon Tuesday, May 11. Please consider attending one of these training sessions as it fits your schedule.

Thank you for your time and engagement in this opportunity. To learn more about the platform, log in at YOU@KSU and watch this short overview video.
