Enrollment management centralizes front desk operations

Submitted by Alexis Bestwick

As a part of the university’s commitment to student success, enrollment management will be offering students integrated services this spring. On Feb. 15, the Office of Recruitment and Admissions, Student Financial Assistance, and the Office of the Registrar consolidated front desks into one location. This change removes the barriers of navigating multiple offices formerly located in different buildings, which is often overwhelming to students, and makes it easier to access a wide range of enrollment services in one central location. This will have no impact on the Berney Family Welcome Center or the services it offers.

The Enrollment Management Central desk is in 119 Anderson Hall. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to noon and 1-4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each office will still retain its current email and phone lines, so the way to reach each office by phone or email has not changed.

Consolidating the enrollment management front desks is the first step in more robust planning to develop an integrated enrollment services center. This planning will begin this spring and will require significant collaboration among campus stakeholders.
