Environmental Health and Safety closed during holiday season

Environmental Health and Safety will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2021. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. In the event of a campus emergency, incident or spill, contact the K-State Police Department at 911 or 785-532-6412. EHS personnel will be notified to respond to the emergency.
Hazardous waste services: We encourage you to submit waste pickup requests by Tuesday, Dec. 22, so staff can collect waste chemicals on Wednesday, Dec. 23, to meet state and federal hazardous waste requirements. Please keep in mind that waste must be picked up within three calendar days of the full date you write on your hazardous waste label. Please submit your request as early as possible. Normal waste collection services will resume on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
