Diversity programming applications open now

Submitted by Maggie Billman

The Diversity Programming Committee is accepting applications until Oct. 30 for funding for events planned for the beginning of the spring semester through May 14, 2021. These requests will be reviewed at the committee's Nov. 4 meeting. The application can be found online

The Diversity Programming Committee allocates funds to student organizations that are hosting large-scale events intended to dissuade prejudice and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, geographic location or age. Requests for funding must be a minimum of $3,000 and the events must be hosted on K-State's campus or via an online platform. Additionally, projects must be free and open to all K-State students.

Any questions can be directed to chair Maggie Billman at maggiekay@k-state.edu
