Greene co-presents at national virtual conference

Kathleen Greene, director of TRIO Educational Supportive Services and the McNair Scholars Program, presented at the virtual Council for Opportunity 39th Annual Conference on Sept. 21.
Greene was a presenter at the session "Image is Everything: Marketing Your Program on Campus and Beyond." Co-presenters were Tracy Lyons, executive director of retention initiatives at the University of Alabama, Birmingham; and Nancy Zamora, director of Student Support Services at North Central Texas College.
The session focused on marketing strategies and best practices for federally funded programs, such as TRIO and Gear Up, to make their presence known and influence campus leadership, higher education policymakers and others.
