Professional development opportunities for academic advising community

Submitted by Kiley Moody

The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success is looking forward to sponsoring the annual Winter Advising Institute and awarding professional development funding. To help move this work forward, we are looking for volunteers from the advising community to serve on two working committees: the Winter Advising Institute Planning Committee and the Professional Development Awards Committee.

The Winter Advising Institute Planning Committee requires a commitment of 10-12 hours between now and Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, when the institute will take place. The awards committee will convene in the coming weeks and wrap up service by early November. We anticipate a four- to five-hour commitment of service in total.

Thank you for considering engaging in this important work. Please take a moment to express your interest in serving by completing this short form by Oct. 5.
