Self-care at K-State

Submitted by Nicholas A. Wallace

Anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns are unfortunately common in graduate school. Yet, too many graduate students feel unable to discuss their mental health in their professional lives. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has only added to this burden.

From 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, Dr. James Guest, a physician, will lead an informal discussion focusing on methods to maintain your mental health during these challenging times. While the event is targeted toward graduate students, faculty/mentor participation is essential to its success.

All are encouraged to join us via Zoom.

You are invited to submit questions for Guest in advance or to help destigmatize mental health issues by sharing your story via a Qualtrics survey
