Volunteers needed for COVID-19 face mask research

Submitted by Vanessa-Rose Turpin

Evidence suggests that face masks can help slow the spread of the coronavirus. It is unknown, however, which face mask is best during exercise and which type of face mask impacts your performance, arterial oxygen levels, or degree of breathlessness. The Clinical Integrative Physiology Laboratory is recruiting participants for a research study to answer these questions.

Volunteers will be asked to exercise while wearing three different types of COVID-19 approved face masks. You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for participation.
