April 22: K-State Virtual Earth Day

Submitted by Gerry Snyder

The annual K-State Earth Day fair will take place online from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, via Zoom at https://ksu.zoom.us/j/554772099. The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action. This come-and-go event features 15 speakers, prizes and trivia all aimed at celebrating 50 years of Earth Day.

The online event features K-State student clubs, Kansas and community groups and several keynote speakers for a fun and informative day of environmental awareness.

K-State Earth Day is organized by Students for Environmental Action, a registered independent student organization. The student organization is dedicated to a healthy, sustainable and environmentally conscious campus and community. Participating in Earth Day gives us a chance to pause in our busy lives and reflect as well as act toward a better, greener and more sustainable planet. Let's make every day Earth Day.
