Vacation leave accruals in May and June

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Twelve-month employees who earn eight hours of vacation leave per pay period will not accrue vacation leave the last three pay periods of fiscal year 2020. This is a normal part of the university's PPM and will affect the following accrual dates:

  • Pay period ending May 16 — paid May 29.
  • Pay period ending May 30 — paid June 12.
  • Pay period ending June 13 — paid June 26.

New employees who started after June 16, 2019, and any part-time employees who have not accrued their full 176 hours of vacation leave, will accrue vacation leave for pay periods ending May 30 and June 13. There will be no vacation leave accrued for full or part-time employees for the pay period ending May 16 since this will be the third paycheck in May.
