Associate dean for online strategic enrollment management candidates to present open forums

The search committee announces three finalists who will interview for the associate dean for online strategic enrollment management position with Global Campus.

Nathan Miller, associate vice president of global civilian and online locations at Columbia College, will interview Jan. 6. The open forum will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 6 in 227 K-State Student Union.

Stephanie Franks-Helwich, vice president and consultant adult, online and graduate at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, will interview Jan. 8. The open forum will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 8 in 227 K-State Student Union.

Mark Porcaro, executive director of online learning at Wichita State University, will interview Jan. 9. The open forum will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 9 in 227 K-State Student Union.

Application materials, live stream link and the candidate feedback survey for each candidate may be found on the department website.

Global Campus and members of the K-State campus are encouraged to attend the open forum presentations, and the topic is:

"Review the programs currently offered through K-State Global Campus website at https://global.k-state.edu/courses/degrees/. Utilizing your knowledge of the current higher education marketplace and predictions of future trends, identify two programs from the website you would recommend expanding nationally and internationally. Share your strategy for each of these programs, including critical internal and external factors you considered when making your selection and your vision for the holistic student lifecycle including marketing, recruitment, admissions, retention and completion."

Oral or written feedback on the candidates also may be directed to members of the search committee: Duane Dunn, chair; Dominic Barnes, Ashley Martin, Dianne Leon, Roger Schieferecke and Christopher Smith.
