Volunteers sought for move-in day
With the arrival of on-campus residents quickly approaching, Housing and Dining Services is requesting volunteers to assist with its two main move-in days.
Official move-in will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, but volunteers are needed for early arrivals from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, as well. Groups and individuals are invited to help, and will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last.
If you wish to help, please complete a brief survey, and select where and when you wish to volunteer as well as your T-shirt size.
Volunteers will receive email confirmation of their assignment by Aug. 14 for the Aug. 18 move-in day, and by Aug. 21 for the Aug. 24 move-in day.
On move-in day, volunteers should report to their assigned location 15 minutes before their shift, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the process.
Move-in T-shirts may run out, therefore volunteers are asked to wear a purple K-State T-shirt. Please do not distribute materials advertising your group's during move-in.
