Healthy dogs needed for pharmacokinetic study

The Integrative Physiology Laboratory in the Department of Kinesiology at K-State is seeking healthy dogs for a study observing the effects of beetroot juice on plasma nitrate levels and changes in blood pressure.

Participation requirements include healthy dogs free of disease weighing 22 pounds or larger.

The study will include two visits to the Veterinary Health Center at K-State. The first visit will be a screening day with blood work/urinalysis and the second day will be an eight-hour visit with blood draws.

Participants be compensated with free blood work and urinalysis.
