Tackle the waste with K-State game day recycling

Submitted by Caroline Fulton

Do your part to minimize the amount of recyclables being wasted at K-State football games by volunteering for game day recycling during one -- or more -- of the following three events related to Saturday's football game:

  • Pregame: 2-6 p.m., passing out recycling bags to tailgaters;
  • Postgame: 10-11:30 p.m., picking up recyclables in football stadium, which pays $12 per hour; and
  • Sunday sorting: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., sorting out recyclables from the football game at K-State's recycling center

Call or email Caroline Fulton, game day recycling coordinator, at 702-290-3558 or crf22@k-state.edu for more information.
