Swanson to present talk on corporate responsibility
Diane L. Swanson, professor of management and faculty of distinction in business administration, will present a talk titled "The Quest for Corporate Responsibility: Past is Prologe?" to the Kansas REC Accountants Association on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Holiday Inn at the Campus.
In this talk, Swanson will describe the first calls for corporate responsibility as coming from business executives in the U.S. in conjunction with academic leaders. She also will describe how these calls paved the way for enlightened CEOs to develop best practices for delivering socially responsible outcomes to a majority of corporate stakeholders.
