Canaan Endicott named 2018 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year

Submitted by Anthony Ybarra

Kansas State University student employees, supervisors, family and friends gathered April 11 to recognize more than 40 K-Staters who were nominated for the Student Employee of the Year award.

Before announcing the 2018 winner, Pat Bosco, vice president for student life and dean of students, recognized and honored the late Kyle Pelton, the 2016 Student Employee of the Year. Shortly following the recognition of the more than 60 nominees, Canaan Endicott, student assistant for K-State Libraries Building Services, was named the 2018 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year. Endicott is a senior in nutrition and health from Ashland.

Endicott was selected for her exceptional reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and adherence to the principles of the Wildcat Way.

Other finalists for this award are:

  • Dakota Baccus, New Student Services
  • Kendra Holthause, Veterinary Health Center Dispensary
  • Brendon Penner, K-State Athletics Operations
