Science Cafe at Radina's today

Submitted by Anna Zinovyeva

Don't miss today's Science Cafe at 7 p.m. at Radina's in Aggieville.

John Tomich, professor of biochemistry and molecular biophysics, will present "Communicating science to nonscientists."

"Teaching science to nonscience majors requires finding ways to relate the science to their daily lives," Tomich said. "It requires humor, current events and relevance. I will share some of my experiences in reaching out to
those wary of science and their own abilities to understand it."

Come join other Science Cafe enthusiasts for this interactive presentation.

Sponsored by Sigma Xi, Kansas Citizens for Science and the Kansas Science Communication Initiative.
