Black Faculty and Staff Alliance to host Teapots with Character event at 3 p.m. today

The K-State and Manhattan community are invited to join the Black Faculty and Staff Alliance for its first Teapots with Character event from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Town Hall in the Leadership Studies Building.

This gathering will feature three professional women who will share their perspectives of being a woman and person of color in their profession.

Featured speakers include LaTanya Skillern, maintenance technical specialist, K-State Student Union; Tosha Sampson-Choma, assistant professor of English, College of Arts and Sciences; and Vera White, administrative assistant, K-State Athletics. 

Complimentary tea and desserts will be served.
