Military affairs director to speak at national convening of veterans and the arts
Retired Lt. Col. Art DeGroat, executive director of military and veterans affairs, was invited to make a presentation and participate in a national convening, "Art in the Service of Understanding: Bridging Artists, Military, Veterans, and Civilian Communities," March 10-12, in Boston, Massachusetts.
The meeting is hosted by the New England Foundation of the Arts at Emerson College.
DeGroat is recognized as an expert in the use of performing arts to enhance publicized standing of veterans reintegration issues.
