A blind date turns into obsession in K-State Theatre's 'Boy Gets Girl' in the Purple Masque Theatre

Submitted by Ben Stark

Performing on the K-State Theatre second stage is "Boy Gets Girl" by Rebecca Gilman and directed by Aubrey Mann, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, April 6-8; and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 9, in the Purple Masque Theatre, West Stadium.

Theresa Bedell is a successful reporter in New York and a relationship would complete the picture so she agrees to go on a blind date. Tony appears to be attractive and funny, but Theresa isn't sure, and after a second date she's convinced they have nothing in common and sees no point in continuing the relationship. Tony, though, thinks otherwise.

Tickets are $9 for the general public; $7.50 for seniors, military, faculty and staff; and $5.50 for students and 18 and under. Tickets are available online, by phone at 785-236-8638 or one hour prior to showtime in the performance venue.

All tickets, regardless of purchase method, are free from convenience fees and sales tax is included.
