Hazardous waste awareness training offered April-June

Environmental Health and Safety is continuing to offer sessions of Hazardous Waste Awareness Training, WTD080. The intended audience is individuals responsible for hazardous waste management, specifically for researchers and employees who generate the waste material and whose responsibility continues through the transportation and disposal process. This training emphasizes the importance of properly identifying, handling and disposing of all hazardous wastes.

Sessions will be offered from 10-11 a.m. Friday, April 15; 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 17; and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, in 011 Edwards Hall. 

Sessions are offered at no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Register for training through HRIS Self_Enrollment or email Samantha Roberts at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu and include your name, department, employee ID number, course title, course number WTD080 and date desired.
