Meeting the National Science Foundation's broader impact requirements: Information session offered Oct. 19
The College of Agriculture and the Office of the Vice President for Research are hosting a special information session, "Extension, National Science Foundation and Broader Impacts," from 1-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, in the Alumni Center's Purple Pride Room.
This session will address how K-State Research and Extension's and 4-H's well established outreach and informal education programs can help meet National Science Foundation broader impact requirements even if the project has nothing to do with agriculture. NSF also can fund certain Extension activities under its informal education programs. Presentations by NSF project managers and Extension practitioners will explain how these key land-grant university programs can be an asset in NSF submissions.
Register for the workshop or view the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs training calendar.
