Association of American Colleges and Universities senior scholar to speak on diversity teaching and learning
Alma Clayton-Pedersen, Association of American Colleges and Universities senior scholar and CEO of Emeritus Consulting Group, will be this year's keynote speaker at the Institute for Student Learning Assessment/Diversity Summit.
Clayton-Pederson will speak on fostering diversity learning through, service learning, capstone courses and high-impact practices during her keynote address from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 13. She also will discuss teaching practices that promote diversity learning at a dinner from 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 12. All events will be in the K-State Student Union.
To attend these and other breakout sessions, please register for the Institute/Diversity Summit by Nov. 1. Registration without meals is free for K-State faculty and staff. Preregistration is encouraged even if you can only make it to one or two sessions. See the conference home page for more information.
