Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees offered May 1

Learning and Development is offering the professional development opportunity, Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees, WTD174, presented by Shanna Legleiter, director of learning and development, from 1:30-3 p.m. Friday, May 1, in Edwards Hall Commons Area.
This session is specifically designed for student employees who work in customer service on a regular basis. Student employees should get supervisor approval prior to attending these sessions. Participants will:
- Determine how to know and understand your guests.
- Identify important behavioral guidelines.
- Describe the difference between on-stage and backstage behaviors/conversations.
- Commit to an ongoing customer service challenge.
There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants my register through HRIS Self_Enrollment or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. When sending an email, please include your name, department, employee ID number, course title, and the course number. Supervisors may also send an email to register student employees.
