Staley School of Leadership Studies students work with Ogden community for Easter event

Submitted by Ryan Haxton

Staley School of Leadership Studies students from Mike Finnegan's LEAD 405: Leadership in Practice course are working in partnership with numerous Ogden community leaders to host the annual Easter Eggstravaganza event on March 28.

This event will feature an Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. for any children in the Ogden community. Following the Easter egg hunt, there will be an assortment of carnival style activities, including a cake walk, egg decorating, arts and crafts and more for community members.

The students in this course are applying adaptive leadership concepts into coordinating this event. The 20 students in the course also are working to raise money for the event and are assisting in coordinating its activities.

To learn more about this event and for ways to contribute to the efforts of the Ogden Easter Extravaganza please contact Ryan Haxton at 785-643-8566 or ryan74@k-state.edu.
