K-State Black Faculty and Staff Alliance to meet Monday, announce Twitter presence

Submitted by Zelia Wiley

The K-State Black Faculty and Staff Alliance will meet at noon Monday, Oct. 13, in 137 Waters Hall. At the general meeting we will vote for our recording secretary and make amendments to our constitution.

The purpose of the Black Faculty and Staff Alliance is to bring together people who have an active interest in promoting racial equity at Kansas State University. The alliance also is interested in furthering the success of black faculty, staff, and students.

Also, the alliance has joined the Twitter world. Follow @KStateBFSA for important alliance information, K-State diversity news and occasional job postings.
