The purpose of the Black Faculty and Staff Alliance is to bring together people who have an active interest in promoting racial equity at Kansas State University. The Alliance is also interested in furthering the success of black faculty, staff, and students.
The Black Faculty Staff Alliance (BFSA) at Kansas State University has a rich history of success on our campus. The organization was started in the early 1980's and was founded to provide a voice for Kansas State University's African-American staff and faculty. Many issues have been addressed through the years relating to students, faculty, and staff.
The Black Faculty and Staff Alliance meets monthly and welcomes all faculty, staff, and graduate students that are dedicated to social justice and creating a campus that is supportive of all diverse populations. We have three committees for you to participate in: Membership, Employment Issues, and Programs. Check the Calendar page for upcoming meetings and events!
