Lafene Health Center Ebola screenings

Submitted by Julie Gibbs

In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy campus, Lafene Health Center invites any students, faculty, staff, visiting scholars or visiting researchers who have traveled through known high-risk countries during the recent outbreak of Ebola virus disease to contact us for a simple and short health screening.

To date, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization consider the following countries to be high risk: Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The screening will help to minimize the risk of exposure of our campus. If you have any questions, please contact Lafene Health Center and ask to speak with a nurse.

Visit the CDC's Ebola information website for more information about the disease.
