Annual performance reviews due by Dec. 23
The Kansas performance management process requires that all classified employees receive an annual review between Oct. 1 and Dec. 23 of each year. It is now time for supervisors to prepare the annual review form, assign an overall rating and schedule a meeting with the employees being reviewed. All classified employees, except for those currently on probation, must have an annual review submitted to the Division of Human Resources no later than Dec. 23.
A video highlighting the process and the differences between the old nine-page form and the new shorter form is available. This may be helpful as you begin the planning phase for 2014 reviews.
