Finalists announced for assistant vice provost for academic affairs position

The search committee for the assistant vice provost for academic affairs announces three finalists who will interview for the position and invites you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate. 

  • Bronwyn Fees, professor and associate dean for academic affairs, College of Health and Human Sciences, Kansas State University, will interview on Dec. 5. The open forum will be from 2-3 p.m. in the Flint Hills Room, K-State Student Union, Room 228.   
  • Simone Cummings, professor and dean of George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology, will interview on Dec. 10. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room, K-State Student Union, Room 230.  
  • Daniel Reardon, professor and interim assistant vice chancellor of academic achievement and enrichment for academic programs and partnerships, Missouri University of Science and Technology, will interview on Dec. 11. The open forum will be from 2-3 p.m. in the Big 12 Room, K-State Student Union, Room 221. 

K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum — "Advancing Academic Innovation in a Culture of Change to Drive Student Success at Kansas State University" — and Q&A session. 

The application materials and open forum information for each candidate are available on the academic affairs and innovation website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. Also, for those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the above website.  

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two days following the candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.  

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Friday, Dec 13.
