Unofficial Transcripts

An unofficial transcript is a copy of your academic record at Kansas State University that is printed on plain paper. It does not have the University official seal or the University Registrar’s signature. You can use an unofficial transcript to review your coursework and to monitor your progress toward degree.

In most cases, it's acceptable to send an unofficial transcript when applying for a job, graduate school, or a scholarship.

NOTE: The Office of the Registrar DOES NOT Certify, Notarize, Stamp, or seal Unofficial Transcripts. If an institution or third-party asks for a verified transcript, you will need to order an official transcript instead. The official transcript is certified/verified and follows our official business process for sending records.

Current Students & Former Students - After Fall 2008

You can access your Unofficial Transcript via your Academic History which contains much of the same information that appears on a transcript.

The academic history is not formatted to look the same as a transcript and may not work for your situation, but you can run it and make that determination.

You will need to log in to your KSIS account.
Once you log in to KSIS, you will select the ‘Student Center’ tile from your Student Homepage.
In your Student Center, under Academics to the left (below the series of links) click the ‘other academics’ drop down menu.
Select ‘Academic History’ from the list and click the light blue button to the right of the drop down box. You will run the report. You can then print it or save it as a PDF document.

NOTE: If the academic history does not work for your needs, you should consider ordering an Official Transcipt. You will do this by selecting 'Order a Transcript/Diploma' from the 'other academic' drop down menu. KSIS: Order Paper Transcript Help Page

You will need to be on a laptop or desktop (no ipads or mobile devices) with your pop-up blocker disabled.

Former Students - Before Fall 2008

You MAY BE ABLE to access your Unofficial Transcript via your Academic History in KSIS depending IF YOUR ACADEMIC RECORD has been converted to the new KSIS system and format.

Your eID and Password MUST be activated in order for you to run the following processes. If you CANNOT make this process work then an Unofficial Transcript Option is NOT available to you and you should order an Official Transcript.
