Kansas State University has partnered with Parchment to help you order and send your transcript and other credentials safely. You can get your official transcript as either an electronic copy or a paper copy. Transcript orders take 3 to 5 business days to process. However, if your records are older or need extra research, it might take longer. All official transcript orders are made online through Parchment.com. The first time you use the ordering system, you’ll need to create an account.
Former Kansas State University students may order official transcripts directly through Parchment.
Former students who attended K-State and have a Parchment account should update their primary email address within their Parchment account to make it a non- K-State email account. That will ensure any future attempts to reset a password or send transcript status updates will be received at the proper email address.
Transcript Ordering Options Based on Attendance Date:
Attended After 2008
Graduated or stopped attending within the last 6 consecutive terms (fall/spring/summer): You may need toReactivate your old eID to access KSIS and place your transcript order.
Graduated or last attended more than 2 years ago (over 6 consecutive terms): You can no longer access your eID and must place your transcript order directly through Parchment.
Attended Prior to 2008 All transcript orders must be placed directly through Parchment.
If you attended 1985/1990-2008 your academic record is most likely in an electronic format and MUST be converted to KSIS from the 'old' transcript repository.
This process can take approximately 10-15 business days {excluding weekends} and holidays
If you attended prior to 1990/1985 your academic record is most likely in a hard copy format and MUST be pulled from our hard copy storage and then worked for conversion into KSIS/the transcript ordering system.
This process can take approximately 14-21 business days {excluding weekends} and holidays
Please keep these processing times in mind when placing a transcript order. During peak periods, such as the beginning or end of a term, additional delays may occur, which can extend processing times by 5–7 business days.
Currently enrolled students may request official transcripts at no charge. Graduating students are also eligible for free transcripts, provided they are still enrolled during their graduation term. Please refer to the academic calendar for the final date to submit a no-charge transcript request.
Note: If you are graduating this semester but are not enrolled in classes, you are not eligible for a free transcript.
