Fresh Start & Forgiveness Resources
Learn more about the Academic Fresh Start and Academic Forgiveness Policy via the University Handbook, Section F104
The Academic Fresh Start or Academic Forgiveness process requires your direct engagement with the College Academic Standards Committee or your College Dean's Office of the Primary Major you are affiliated with in the semester of your application/request.
Example: For Fall 2021 you are in a major in the College of Agriculture and you have changed your major for Spring 2022 to the College of Business. If you are academically dismissed for Fall 2021 and want to request reinstatement for Spring 2022 you will need to follow the processes designated by the College of Business.
