Parking Services

Purchase permits, plan for your visit and see all rules and regulations for parking at Kansas State University.

  • Individuals who repeatedly park in client and reserved stalls without the proper permit, have expired meters, or fail to pay for parking in the garage will face escalating fines that will increase over time. Simply paying the same fine for each violation will no longer be an option. Repeat offenders will incur higher penalties. Fines for parking in client and reserved stalls will begin at $55 and can escalate to a maximum of $220 if not paid. Similarly, fines for expired meters and non-payment of garage fees will start at $20 and may rise to a maximum of $160 if left unpaid.
  • The Manhattan campus has upgraded its parking meters to accept cashless payments, allowing users to pay with credit and debit cards. This modernization eliminates the need for coins and offers digital payment options, including tap-to-pay functionality.

Parking Permits

Students, faculty and staff can order a permit in the Parking Portal. Please be sure to have your vehicle make, model and license plate number ready when ordering. Students must be enrolled and have their housing arrangements before they order a permit. A confirmation email is sent after the online process is completed.
