Accessible Parking

Parking Services offers over 300 conveniently located accessible parking spaces near all campus buildings and residence halls. Students, faculty and staff who wish to use accessible parking on campus must display a valid disability placard or license plate and purchase a K-State parking permit.

Parking permits for individuals with physical disabilities are available for disabled students, faculty and staff to use in designated parking spaces. These medical permits can be obtained from any Kansas courthouse.

Parking is prohibited in fire lanes, reserved stalls, yellow crosshatched areas, or in any manner that obstructs traffic. Holders of accessible or disability parking placards may park in metered spaces free of charge for as long as necessary. Under no circumstances should vehicles be parked on sidewalks, grass, or along the road.

Individuals with physical disabilities planning to attend special events on campus should contact the Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency (ATA) if special parking arrangements are required.
