Accreditation

The A.Q. Miller School of Media and Communication has two accredited degree programs through the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC), most recently earning reaccreditation in May 2020.

ACEJMC Accredited Degree Programs:

The School is one of 119 programs in the world to receive ACEJMC accreditation, a status the degree programs have enjoyed almost continuously since 1947. What this means for students is that the noted degree programs have undergone rigorous review of curriculum, equipment, facilities, and faculty and have been determined to meet a high standard of quality education. Accreditation from ACEJMC gives the degree programs national prominence and recognition. A degree in Advertising & Public Relations or News & Sports Media will have the strength of a national reputation behind it to open doors in media and communications organizations and businesses.
