Undergraduate Research Amplification Project

Fund your research, with support from K-State SGA. Applications for the 2025-26 URAP are due Sept.15.

 

Vaithish Velazhahan was awarded the 2025 Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship to pursue an MD in Medicine at Stanford University. Vaithish attended K-State, where he found his passion for research in Dr. Schrick’s lab.

What if we could develop on-demand 3D printing for custom-fitted prosthetics and other medical devices? Xania Cobian, a junior industrial and manufacturing systems engineering major received more than $300,000 in grant funding from the National Science Foundation’s Division of Undergraduate Education to make progress on this innovation.
