HandsOn Kansas State
Who We Are
HandsOn Kansas State promotes civic learning and leadership through meaningful volunteer and service opportunities between campus and community. HandsOn strives to develop socially-responsible citizens, knowledgeably equipped for active participation. Some of our activities include:
- Creating and implementing Days of Service to heighten civic awareness.
- Hosting mobile food distribution in conjunction with Harvester's of Topeka, where 8,000 pounds of fresh produce are distributed to an average of 180 households at each event.
- Hosting annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Days of Service, mobilizing over 100 volunteers at anywhere from 10-20 sites in Manhattan.
- Seasonal volunteer opportunities include raking for senior citizens, Fake Patty's Day Clean-Up and Furniture Amnesty Day.

HandsOn K-State is grateful for the support of Phillips 66. The ways in which we can serve the Manhattan and K-State communities have expanded thanks to their generosity.
